Do you need one or more of images to reveal your message?

In visual art, where images sending a virtual message towards the viewer, can be directly through one single image and it is considered powerful. But telling a story by visual need more than single images, series of images that have sequences and details of the story.

Type of composition is play a role to enhance the idea and visual for sequences photography. As if, close-up for detailing, medium shot for portrait, wide shot for surrounding. The element and principle photography could emphasize more on the composition technique, such as playing with the shutter speed, applying the line, perspective, framing, rule of third, finding a pattern etc. Its all to get a creative proportion and composition to make the sequences photography more attractive.

Why sometimes one is not enough?

It is best if you could avoid the distraction, take time to plan your photograph, plus story-telling need more than 3 word. As an example, photo journalism, it is a documentary where you need to document the story, and to compile a story, the answer of "what, why, when, who, how" is needed. This is where the element, principle, technical of composition can be apply to produce an interesting series of images.

Even in advertising, besides of the powerful photograph, there is a copy-writing explaining more about the product/ the advert itself.
